Another interactive installation that records pulse rates and translates it into an abstract mirror. The image is created with circles that moves with the rates recorded. Chris Lee and Henry Chang were the creative minds behind PulseMirror, who utilised Arduino technology. It uses the same idea of Pulse Room/Park by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, but spins it to a pop-art aesthetic.

pulse, by Marcus Kison.
"pulse is a live visualisation of the recent emotional expressions written on the private weblogs of blogger.com. These are parsed according to a list of synonyms and transform a physical shapeshifting object, which was created analogous to Robert Plutchik's Psychoevolutionary Theory of Emotion. markuskison.de/pulse"

Its pretty damn creepy, and a little one-sided, but in saying that I found it interesting enough to use it as a precedent for this project. Look at all the data it understands and translates.
